Lauren Stroop
Marketing Assistant
Master of Moving Parts
Think of Lauren Stroop as Estland’s very own air traffic controller. She keeps our team flying in formation and makes sure no client project misses its runway.
Lauren grew up just outside of Broadway, Virginia, on her family’s multi-generational poultry farm. Summers were spent poolside on the local swim team or tearing through the farm on a four-wheeler with her brothers. As a kid, she loved gardening, caring for the farm animals (especially baby chicks) and dreamed of one day working in the fashion industry. She covered her bedroom walls in ripped-out pages from Vogue, and she never missed an episode of Project Runway or America’s Next Top Model. She took her dream so far as to get booked with a modeling agency and travel to Florida for a shoot, only to realize that city life wasn’t for her.
Yet, her passion for art and design never waned, and she chose to major in Media Studies with a concentration in Advertising at Radford University. After college, Lauren began her marketing career in student housing, working her way up from a Leasing Professional to the Marketing Manager for one of the largest complexes in the region. Prior to joining Estland, Lauren served as the Marketing Director for a ten-agent real estate team in the Shenandoah Valley. There, she streamlined branding efforts, implemented new strategies and systems and led marketing production from start to finish for every new listing.
As a creator raised in the Shenandoah Valley, I love applying my passions for visual storytelling and service into everything I do.
As Marketing Assistant at Estland, Lauren helps manage projects for our clients across all industries. She brings a rare combination of strategic thinking, next-level attention to detail and genuine care to every client she works with. She listens deeply, takes great notes, and has an uncanny ability to break down big ideas into bite-sized, actionable steps. Simply put, Lauren makes things make sense for our clients and our team. We are all in excellent hands with her guiding projects from start to finish.
Outside of work, Lauren is a huge concertgoer with a wider-than-average taste in music that spans from pop-punk to bluegrass. When she’s not at a concert, you’ll find her trackside at drag races on the weekends, cheering on her husband, TJ, as he races down the eighth of a mile track in his Chevy S10. Lauren stays active by taking Peloton classes with friends and winds down with Olivia, her clever Australian Cattle Dog, or “Australian Couch Dog,” as Lauren likes to call her, since she’s more interested in snuggling than herding cattle.
