Windridge Landscaping & Hardscaping

A Website With True Natural Beauty

For 35 years, Windridge Landscaping & Hardscaping has been busy crafting and transforming breathtaking outdoor spaces throughout Charlottesville, VA, and the Shenandoah Valley.

But Windridge had a problem: their website buried their beautiful work and made it difficult for visitors to find the inspiration to reimagine their own properties.

That’s where Estland stepped in. Together, we created a new website that captures the essence of Windridge’s landscapes and hardscapes through custom photography, video and a clean, intuitive design.

Web Design That Puts the Work Front & Center

Estland’s design team took inspiration from Windridge’s natural landscapes, building a clean, modern website that lets their work shine. Wide, full-width image layouts create a gallery-like experience, while a simplified site architecture makes it easy for visitors to find exactly what they’re looking for.

Every design decision draws attention to the character and craftsmanship Windridge brings to each project and property. The result is a site that’s as elegant and enduring as the landscapes themselves.

Blumont Energy

New Brand & Website

James McClain came to Estland in 2024 for a new brand and website for a yet-to-be-named Virginia energy company he was forming. Here’s how we teamed up and helped create Blumont Energy.

Three Virginia Propane Companies Become One

the challenge

Branding, renaming companies and developing new websites are Estland’s bread and butter. But when a merger is happening alongside major internal changes, it takes an expert level of marketing and branding finesse. Each of Blumont’s three legacy companies brought an established reputation, loyal customers and unique services to the table. Estland knew that the new branding and rollout strategy must be simple, clear and honor their rich histories to make the transition as smooth as possible.

Building A Brand Identity

a new name and logo

Crafting a new company name was step one, as it’s the foundation of any brand identity and the first impression a company makes on potential customers. After deep research, stakeholder engagement and rounds of pitches, the team decided on Blumont Energy.

  • Blumont pays homage to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains that surround their service area, and blue is a very trustworthy color.
  • Energy communicates their diverse product and service offerings that span several sources, including propane, gasoline, heating oil and more.

Together, Blumont Energy represents trust, experience and dependability.

Valley Structures

Social Media Giveaway

Wilson Zimmerman, co-owner of Valley Structures, wanted to start the year strong and attract as many new customers as possible to their refreshed website.

Together, we decided to give away something big on social media—a garden house shed.

Here’s how our social media management team executed a strategy that not only drove traffic to the new site but boosted awareness of their growing product offerings and increased engagement across their Facebook and Instagram channels.

Arts Council of the Valley

Bringing the Arts to Everyone

Arts Council of the Valley brings the Harrisonburg and Rockingham County communities together through the arts. To better support their mission, they needed an updated web design to showcase their programs and expand their reach. That’s where Estland stepped in to help.

The goal? A website that would promote grants, art exhibitions, artist members and events like First Fridays and serve as a central resource hub for local arts.

Federal Employment Law Training Group

Website Development Overhaul

When FELTG approached Estland for website development, their registration process was outdated and clunky. It required participants to download PDFs, fill in their credit card details, and email or fax forms back. They knew this inefficient system didn’t match the high-quality training they provided in their field, so they came to us for help.

Recognizing the need for change, Estland got to work overhauling FELTG’s digital presence. Our mission was clear: create a user-friendly, modern website that streamlines the registration process.

Custom Web Development

Flexible Payment Choices Streamline Enrollment Process

Our web development team built a site with an online course catalog, event calendar and seamless registration and checkout functionalities—all tailored to meet government purchasing requirements.

Knowing that many registrants aren’t authorized to make payments, Estland’s developers added options to pay later or forward the invoice to someone authorized—all while securing their spot in the training. This hassle-free feature revolutionized the user experience.

Friendly City Food Co-Op

Web Design For A Community-Driven Experience.

When the Friendly City Food Co-op reached out to Estland, they were ready for a web design refresh. They wanted a website to better meet the needs of their growing community of shoppers and owners. Having worked together before on their old website, we understood their needs.

Our goal was to create a modern, intuitive web design that was as welcoming as the Co-op itself.

Healthy Community Health Centers

Healthcare Marketing

Complete Website Development Revamp

When HCHC approached Estland, they had just launched a fresh brand identity and needed a website to match their new look. They wanted to create a digital presence that would resonate with donors and patients, reflect their values and mission and provide a seamless user experience.

We took a mobile-first approach, designing a streamlined website that effectively serves both audiences. The website is easy to use, helping turn visitors into new patients. It also focuses on the patient’s experience, demonstrating HCHC’s commitment to quality care.

Top Bead Welding

Building A Website For A Modern Online Presence.

When Top Bead Welding approached our team, they were ready to elevate their online presence. They wanted a mobile-friendly website that reflected their commitment to precision and craftsmanship.

Our mission was to create a site to highlight their work and meet high standards for functionality and accessibility.

Healthy Community Collaborative

Nonprofit Marketing

Transforming An Established Initiative With Fresh & Vibrant Marketing

Nonprofit marketing is immensely rewarding. Nothing feels better than helping a deserving initiative promote its products and services to support the community where you live and work. Our team is passionate about creating vivid and inspiring branding, websites, messaging and digital ads that transform these much-needed organizations. Over the past several years, Maureen Bowler (Mo) from the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Community Services Board (HRCSB) has been a valued partner of Estland. She’s a grant-writing wizard who has brought more funds into the community to support vital infrastructure and we’re incredibly proud to help her through each phase of her projects.

The Healthy Community Collaborative (HCC) was established in 1996 to conduct assessments on community needs. Their work is vital to the Harrisonburg community, but their branding and messaging didn’t align with their vision. That’s where Mo and Estland came together to create a fresh, vibrant, and long-lasting brand that inspires other nonprofits to collaborate with them and improve the community we know and love.
