Branding, renaming companies and developing new websites are Estland’s bread and butter. But when a merger is happening alongside major internal changes, it takes an expert level of marketing and branding finesse. Each of Blumont’s three legacy companies brought an established reputation, loyal customers and unique services to the table. Estland knew that the new branding and rollout strategy must be simple, clear and honor their rich histories to make the transition as smooth as possible.

Crafting a new company name was step one, as it’s the foundation of any brand identity and the first impression a company makes on potential customers. After deep research, stakeholder engagement and rounds of pitches, the team decided on Blumont Energy.
- Blumont pays homage to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains that surround their service area, and blue is a very trustworthy color.
- Energy communicates their diverse product and service offerings that span several sources, including propane, gasoline, heating oil and more.
