Estland Opens New Office in Downtown Harrisonburg

Estland is officially settled into our new downtown home at the Harrisonburg Innovation Hub, and it’s finally time to share the behind-the-scenes details of our custom build-out. Keep reading to see how our new space embodies Estland’s brand and culture from top to bottom.

A Space to Come Together

Our new office was never about enforcing a return to work—it was about offering a choice and creating an environment where our team wanted to be.

It was important for us to be downtown again; we missed being surrounded by other businesses and entrepreneurial energy. More than anything, we needed a place to gather, connect and innovate—where future growth and expansion were possible.

The Harrisonburg Innovation Hub is Estland’s New Headquarters

The Harrisonburg Innovation Hub was the perfect fit for Estland’s new home base. Vada Kelley, Estland’s CEO, saw the potential early on and signed as one of the first anchor tenants, securing Estland a custom-built-out opportunity for a first-floor suite, in the heart of Downtown Harrisonburg.

We called upon Estland’s Creative Director, Beverly Virkler, to plan and design the space, drawing on her vast experience in environmental branding and interior design. As you browse through the space, notice how every corner is intentional and every area inspires creativity and connection.

Shaping the Culture of the Hub

Estland remains a flexible workplace, with team members working remotely across the United States. The new office simply adds an option for us to focus, collaborate, host events and meet with clients in person.

The type of work we do can be done anywhere in the world. There’s no requirement to be in the office; I will always allow people to work from wherever they feel most comfortable and productive.

Since moving in December 2024, our team has made the space their own. The finishing touches were a team effort, from which computer monitors would work best for both our web developers and graphic designers, to which drinks and snacks should be stocked at all times.
