Blumont Energy

New Brand & Website

James McClain came to Estland in 2024 for a new brand and website for a yet-to-be-named Virginia energy company he was forming. Here’s how we teamed up and helped create Blumont Energy.

Three Virginia Propane Companies Become One

the challenge

Branding, renaming companies and developing new websites are Estland’s bread and butter. But when a merger is happening alongside major internal changes, it takes an expert level of marketing and branding finesse. Each of Blumont’s three legacy companies brought an established reputation, loyal customers and unique services to the table. Estland knew that the new branding and rollout strategy must be simple, clear and honor their rich histories to make the transition as smooth as possible.

Building A Brand Identity

a new name and logo

Crafting a new company name was step one, as it’s the foundation of any brand identity and the first impression a company makes on potential customers. After deep research, stakeholder engagement and rounds of pitches, the team decided on Blumont Energy.

  • Blumont pays homage to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains that surround their service area, and blue is a very trustworthy color.
  • Energy communicates their diverse product and service offerings that span several sources, including propane, gasoline, heating oil and more.

Together, Blumont Energy represents trust, experience and dependability.

Healthy Community Collaborative

Nonprofit Marketing

Transforming An Established Initiative With Fresh & Vibrant Marketing

Nonprofit marketing is immensely rewarding. Nothing feels better than helping a deserving initiative promote its products and services to support the community where you live and work. Our team is passionate about creating vivid and inspiring branding, websites, messaging and digital ads that transform these much-needed organizations. Over the past several years, Maureen Bowler (Mo) from the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Community Services Board (HRCSB) has been a valued partner of Estland. She’s a grant-writing wizard who has brought more funds into the community to support vital infrastructure and we’re incredibly proud to help her through each phase of her projects.

The Healthy Community Collaborative (HCC) was established in 1996 to conduct assessments on community needs. Their work is vital to the Harrisonburg community, but their branding and messaging didn’t align with their vision. That’s where Mo and Estland came together to create a fresh, vibrant, and long-lasting brand that inspires other nonprofits to collaborate with them and improve the community we know and love.

GoodEx

Web Design & Branding

Web Design That Showcases A Respected Contractor

Eric Good first contacted Estland to explore new names, branding, web design and full-spectrum marketing for his excavating, grading and concrete business. For 25 years, GoodEx was Good’s Services, a name Eric chose early in his business venture because it allowed him to expand his service offering over time. Sounds like a good idea, right? Here was the problem — the name didn’t communicate the type or breadth of his services. Good’s Services had a strong reputation and was considered a premier excavating company in our area, but they needed outside developers to understand that as much as the locals.

We channeled our creativity into several unique business names that capitalized on Eric’s last name and started to inform consumers of his services. Four logo renditions, a new website, custom videography, and photography showcase the GoodEx difference to their local community and beyond.

Wellness Connection

Marketing For Nonprofits

That Inspires & Communicates With A Community

When Maureen (Mo) Bowler requested a marketing proposal for a new grant-funded initiative of the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Community Services Board, she wanted a marketing agency with experience working with nonprofits and community advocates. Branding and marketing a nonprofit requires a deft hand skilled at communicating with different audiences. Thankfully, the team at Estland has decades of experience doing just that.

Estland worked closely with Mo and her team to name and brand this new initiative. After exploring dozens of options, Wellness Connection was born with a heartwarming logo that resonates in the Friendly City. Wellness Connection collaborates with our local community to provide preventative resources to address mental health challenges, substance use and suicide in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County, VA. Their services are critical to supporting the well-being of the community where Estland lives and works.

Griffith Bag Co.

A Modern Rebrand

With Vintage Charm: Logo, Web Design & More!

When Mike and Melanie Smith purchased Griffith Bag Company in 2020, they had a vision – to infuse a touch of vintage charm into a brand deeply rooted in tradition, while propelling it into the digital age. With over 75 years of service in the agricultural and landscaping industries, Griffith Bag Co. possessed a strong legacy, but its branding had become dated, and it was virtually invisible online.

With extensive financial industry marketing experience, Estland was the perfect marketing partner for Oak Hill Wealth Advisors.

Financial planners can spend years fostering connections with their clients. Our decades of storytelling experience can seamlessly facilitate those relationships by transporting target audiences from the first step of the process through the last. By using language to build credibility and empathy, we set the foundation for a long-lasting relationship between the client and the advisor.

Euliss Propane

Gas & Oil Branding

Guiding A Respected Business Through A Branding Transformation

Nothing feels better than branding you are proud of and passionate about. If your website, apparel and trucks feel outdated, customers may think your services are outdated. Bottom line – visual appeal attracts more customers. And when it’s time to update your website, it is often time to take a closer look at your brand as a whole.

When we first met with Chris Stanley over at Euliss Propane, we discussed rebuilding their website to bring Euliss up-to-date and into the 21st Century. We wanted to provide Euliss with an online web platform that could work as an effective sales tool. Chris wanted to integrate his website with the MyFuel Portal so that his customers could pay their bills online and check to see their tank levels. He knew that a mobile-friendly and easy-to-use website was a necessary investment and Estland delivered.

Keystone Propane

Web Design Built For Growth

Web Design & Rebrand That Competes With Industry Giants

Keystone Propane, a leading propane distribution company in Northeast PA, faced challenges in the modern market due to outdated branding, web design, messaging and overall digital presence. With a strong commitment to innovation and growth, Keystone Propane enlisted our expertise to undertake a comprehensive rebrand and marketing overhaul.

Keystone Propane needed help keeping up with the evolving demands of a competitive market. Their team felt their marketing hindered their ability to connect with potential customers. They required a complete transformation of their identity and communication strategy to thrive in this environment.

Hutchens Rentz-Eden

Gas & Oil Branding

That Pushes Ahead Of The Competition

The fuel industry is highly competitive, so when Tim Hutchens and his team changed their company name after a recent acquisition, they knew it was important to rebrand and market Hutchens Rentz-Eden (HRE) to distinguish it from its competitors. One of Tim’s colleagues recommended Estland because of our significant experience and success marketing the gas and oil industry. We got to work immediately, researching the competition and identifying effective strategies to promote long-term growth. The result? Succinct messaging, increased online visibility and a powerful visual identity that showcases HRE at its finest.

Hutchens Rentz-Eden has been fueling everyday life since 1975. They distribute fuel to gas stations and commercial clients in North Carolina and Virginia. They also sell lubricants to automotive repair shops, retail businesses and commercial clients in North Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee. Over the years, the HRE team had found it challenging to communicate with multiple distinct customer types over a broad and varied service area. With that in mind, our team created comprehensive messaging to address each audience while reinforcing the company’s history. We modernized the logo to appeal to 21st-century customers and applied it to tanks, trucks, t-shirts, sales brochures, banners and more. We integrated their messaging and visual identity into a user-friendly website communicating their products and services to distinct audiences.
